I can’t download anything on my Xbox series x. I need any help I can get.

My old Xbox one x also couldn’t download anything and was the reason I upgraded to the series x. My series x worked fine for the first 3 months then stopped being able to download anything too. I’ve tried everything to troubleshoot this and have come up empty. I’ve done everything to hard resetting it, taking to Microsoft support, and even sending it back to Microsoft for them to fix. After recovering it from Microsoft, I still had the exact same issue. I’m stumped on this and wondering if it may be an account problem as my old Xbox seemingly passed the issue down to my new one. Another thing is that once my new Xbox couldn’t download anything my old one started being able to download things again. Then, once I shut down my series x, my old Xbox stopped being able to download games and apps. I’m completely out of options and was wondering if there was anything left to do.

No, the hard drive stays plugged in.

OK just as a suggestion, the word download indicates that you're getting it from the Internet. You install a game from a disk. That way people don't get led down the wrong path

My first suggestion to you is to go out and buy an ethernet cable, you can get them in length of hundreds of feet for under $20 if reach is to your router is a problem, you need to check the wired connection to see if it's an issue with your Wi-Fi adapter in the console first and foremost

I just click on the download button and absolutely nothing happens. It maybe sometimes takes me to the queue but then nothing appears or starts downloading. I’m on a wireless connection and I’m currently trying to download call of duty modern warfare. I’ve also noticed that I can download disc games but not digital.

Yep but when one stops being able to download the other is able to. And it’s not the home console privileges. I’ve made sure that my series x is my console with all privileges.
