I can’t download an upgrade, why?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Please perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

I’ve bought upgrades for games that I had the physical copy of before and never had this issue. There’s absolutely no reason anyone can’t use it just because they got the disc. Why even make the upgrade available then?

It can’t get any worse for me. But I realize it isn’t all about me, so why don’t they give everyone the option of installing the upgrade or not?

I have a Xbox one S all digital. Why can’t I download it.

Idk why you can’t install it I had it downloaded like 3 weeks ago and then I deleted it and can’t reinstall. They told me at the updating support that they were working on fixing it because it is not just on xbox.
