i cant download almost any games via game pass

I have a problem with installing some games on my laptop via Microsoft / Xbox live I recently bought a game pass and i waned to try some games but abzu / ori / human fall flat did not work at al says there is no applicable device but I do not understand
what that means so I wondered what I could do to be able to install and play

If you want to play games on your laptop from the Xbox game pass, then they need to be play anywhere games. As those games are not, then you have to find them either from the store, and purchase them or from another online store like steam or gog.

that's because those aren't play anywhere titles https://www.windowscentral.com/play-anywhere-list only these can be used on a pc with the game pass.

you'll need an xbox to play those games.

For PC they have to be Xbox Play anywhere titles. Not all games will work

Did you download the game via Game Pass at any point? Or is this the via disc install?
