I can't download about 75% of the games in game pass on pc. Everytime I try I get this error.

It worked for me, personally, so worth checking out to see if it fixes your issues too.

Your lame game pass software gives me a BSOD when trying to download Gears Tactics - I don't even dare download other games.

I found another person having a similar problem which was due to an anti virus program - my problem is HCP anywhere - dropbox type of software that I use for work.

Will need a refund of my 1 dollar and an apology soon. I have used Steam for 15 years now and have never encountered a problem like this!

My download stopped at 75% and it won't start again. Once more I keep getting the "can't download" error message after a few seconds I try downloading it again.

Thanks for keeping us informed. So I think you should check your Windows system files! Windows provides its own tool, System File Checker (SFC), for this purpose, which you can run from the command prompt if you have administrator privileges.

The application checks all system files and then immediately starts an attempt to repair found bad files. In any case, SFC records all the results so that you can alternatively replace the damaged data yourself.To use the scan program,:

Open the command prompt as an administrator:

1. Go to Windows Search from the Start menu (Windows icon).
2. Type "cmd" and then right-click on the entry "Prompt".
3. Select the "Run as Administrator" menu item.
4. Now insert the following command line into the command line: sfc /scannow
5. Confirm your entry by pressing Enter to start the verification process. Leave the command prompt window open until the check is complete and SFC has notified you of the results.
