I cant download a game to my external hard drives.

I moved my games from the internal hard drive to the external hard drive to see if my games won't kick me to the dashboard I tried it yesterday with a external hard drive I had never used for my Xbox. My games were never on the external hard drive they
were in the internal hard drive. Also I downloaded trove and it kicks me to the dashboard as well.

Im using windows 11 with the latest version.

Is Windows updated to latest version? If not Install the Media Creation Tool from this link http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/m... choosing Download Tool Now, install the tool, open it and choose Upgrade this PC Now. This will save your files and apps while bringing you up to the latest version by the most stable method. It will also bring all of your Updates current and solve most problems since it reinstalls Windows.

Is there a Windows Apps folder already on the target drive? If so Take Ownership and delete it, after uninstalling any Apps in it first from App Settings:

If nothing else works then you can keep Apps on C and move your User folders off to another hard drive instead, following:

Keeping apps on C with the System Image has it's advantages including not losing speed due to differential with the other drive. Moving files also has advantages of keeping the System Image smaller. This way if Windows ever becomes irreparable you can restore C from recovery media, and your files will be current and safe in their own separate partition. If they are left on C they would be dated from when the image was taken.

If u have a external hard drive connected you could of downloaded the game twice check your Xbox hard drive and external hard drive then just delete the duplicate I had the same thing happen with my and gta

I don't have an external hard drive in at all, I downloaded it on my internal hard drive.
