I can't change my Privacy settings.

The account receiving the error is the actual adult account? or is the child account? child accounts can't change privacy settings.

    Xbox broadcasting problem

Only an adult (parental account) can make the changes in privacy settings for a child account. The child account can't perform the changes itself.

I can't change Xbox privacy settings from an adult account

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

For you to manage it you can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings.

If the system detects that your account is a child account you will be redirected to a support site and if not you will be able to change it successfully.

If you were redirected to a support page, please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family and check if there is an organizer account linked to your account then ask the organizer account to sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings then "allow" the setting on this list:

    * You can see and upload community creations

    * You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

    * Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

    * You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

    * You can create and join clubs

    * You can join multiplayer games

Make sure to hit “submit” when you made any changes.

How can i use my account like i'm parent?

    Hey Krittament!

There is no way to graduate a Microsoft account to an adult. What can be done is go into the

    privacy and online settings
from the adult account and change the settings. Give it a shot and keep us posted!

    Online privacy setting won't save
