I can’t change to a custom gamer picture even though I’m on adult settings

Your account has to be registered as 18+ to be able to use custom pics

The error I’m receiving is that I need an adult account for a custom profile picture but I have an adult account and I can’t change it

You can not change your child account to an adult one. It has to age into that. Changing the birthday will not change the account type. You will just have to wait till it ages into being an adult one from that FIRST birthday you entered into it.

No for security purposes Microsoft does not allow a child under the age of 18 to put a custom picture up.

It goes by the original age not what it gets changed to later

If it is the oroginal.age you have to.remove your account from parental control under https//accounts.microsoft.com

If it isn't over 18 and no it can't be changed after the fact then the system will ask.gor another parental email
