I can't change my xbox live account to adult after updating the age

The age of an Xbox account will always be determined by the birthdate entered when creating the account. While you may e able to change the date in your Microsoft account, the Xbox account will never change from what it was originally set at. You can change
that account to an adult account once the 18th birthday has been reached (as determined by the birth date entered when the account was set up.)

i download dragon age 2 on the website and im on a family plan and i can't download dragon age 2. so my boyfriend, he's the one with the head of the family plan changed me to the adult plan, and still i can't download. so he changed all the setting and still
can't download. but im an adult. why can't i download dragon age 2 for my in game item. but on was on a child's account thing first before my boyfriend changed my account to adult. i didn't even knew i was on a child's account.
