    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with changing the name on your console.

    What kind of error messages are you receiving?

    When you attempt to test your network, do you receive any error messages at all? There is an article that covers what steps to take in order to

    troubleshoot your Xbox One network connection     if you do.

    What I would suggest would be, if possible, to use an alternate network, such a mobile hotspot, to see if you are able to configure it this way.

    Alternatively, if your close to your network hardware, you can try to connect using an ethernet cord to see if you experience better results.

    Give this a try and let us know if this works for you!
