I can't change my Minecraft gamer tag.

Ever since I linked my Microsoft/Xbox account to my Minecraft (PS4), I have been stuck with the default gamer tag, this hadn't bothered me until recently when I decided to change it (via, Xbox account, profile, customize, and clicked the pen icon next to my gamer tag), when I did this it would take me to a new site and begin loading, however, a few seconds into loading, it would stop and take me to a new site where it would tell me, "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later. The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again.". It would do this every single time I tried to change my gamer tag. I have tried several things to fix this, including, using Microsoft edge (I normally use chrome), Clearing my cookie data, Trying in a private window, signing out of my account and back in, and waiting a moment and trying again. However, none of these things have changed the outcome of when I try to change my gamer tag. Does anyone have some advice?

First please change your Xbox and Microsoft account to your country (South Korea I believe): This is needed to use a credit card from your region.

Xbox one:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide. Select Settings. Select System. Select Language & location. Select your new location from the list, and then select Restart now.
