Two things you should know first it costs you more to keep an gift card then it is to use it once

Your best option for goto Walmart or your local shop and buy and use it up

On 50 dollar gift card it tends to use 10 bucks at least in first purchase in the first month this includes maintaince monthly fees and activation etc

They only have a 20 % chance of working on any online service they work better on physical stores

You need to turn on online transactions and reoccurring purchases and add billing information to the card and hope for the best

It's like playing Russian roulette with your wallet

Ok, just for future reference currency cards purchased can only be used in the region they were purchased in. For example, if you purchase the card from the US your account must be set to US in order to use the amount.

Now, if you are trying to purchase items from the website you will not be able to use the currency on the account. You can only use it from the console. But be aware that some items are region locked and you may not be able to download them once purchased.

Finally, please remember that you will not be able to change your account back to your region for 90 days.
