I can't brows games I own in the Xbox PC app

How about some way to install gamepass games on my pc without using this broken app?

The MS tore forces me to open the xbox app in order to install things like Halo on my brand new gaming pc. Most of the games I own and through xbox and now I have a $3600 machine that can't play the games I own. Oh MS is including xbox in windows 11! rejoice! <sigh>

Sorry about the rant, I'm extremely pissed about this. I mean I have to return this computer now. $450 dollar restocking fee + shipping.

If I'm understanding you correctly then your Xbox account will only be linked to you on both platforms, so in terms of your PC, you'll be able to play some of your Xbox games via Windows 10 the Xbox game pass for PC app - but that would need to be installed
on your own PC account. So you could either let your kids play on your PC while you're logged in to it or you could download it and log into it with your own credentials on your child's PC account to let them play on it? You can't transfer your games to your
son's account as such, but you can let him play on them via your own logged in app I would have thought.

If its not specifically listed as the PC version of the game on the Microsoft store app, then no. Because I own games on console that I haven't installed/bought on PC that says I own that version the game on the PC. Whereas some of the puzzle games I like
that I own on console don't say I own them on PC as they are two different ports.

Do you think that this might have been caused by a 2 factor authentication issue?

My parents gave me a laptop they wanted me to take a look at. It was running Windows 10, so I signed into the Xbox app using my MS account to see how it performed. As I have 2 factor enabled, I got a notification on my phone to authorise the login, which
I did. The Xbox app worked fine - no more loading delays!

I then went back to the Xbox app on my own PC, signed out, signed back in again - no more loading delays!

Of course, I had tried signing out/in of the app on my own PC before, which never did anything, but what I hadn't tried was signing into the Xbox app on a different PC.

This can't be coincidence, as the app literally had constant problems for weeks on end, but the moment I signed into the app on a different PC, then signed out/into it on my own PC, it starts working as normal.

Anyway, fingers crossed it keeps working!

Hi Francia, thanks for the reply. If I want to use the PC Xbox app, how can I look at Xbox One games instead of PC games? When I navigate to "Games I Own" on this app, it shows one installed game, called Microsoft Solitaire Collection. Based on this, I believe this application is showing me my PC games on the PC I'm on, not my Xbox games (like the name of the app would suggest). I am not interested in PC games at all, just managing my Xbox One library from my PC (or phone).
