I can't add the ODST to my MasterChiefCollection. I missed some code?

I've the MCC. I've migrated from a 360 to Slim to new Xbox One and now I installed the MCC and its missing Halo 3: ODST . I own the 360 version (I know I've played it and tried loading it). But MCC wants me to buy some DLC ($4.99).

I've read I might have received some code, but there is no record.

How do I get this without paying, again?

Hey,

That code was release to a select group of players that played since launch to repay them for all the server down time and hick up since launch. It wasn't re-vamp or anything it was just an add on. You can always play the 360 version as it is back comp on
the Xbox One

I get it but am rather bummed as playing the 360 disc of ODST doesn't seem to register in MCC. Guess I should get the $5 DLC and move along

If you own ODST on disc, try just installing it through back-compat. It won't integrate into the MCC setup, but it will be there, and it would save you $5. About the only thing the $5 would get you would be greater integration with MCC, nothing more.

Halo 3: ODST was not included as part of the Master Chief Collection. There was a redemption code sent out for it for some users of MCC as a make-good, which added the single-player version of ODST to the MCC. If you redeemed it then, then it would be available
as DLC on the account that redeemed it.

Go to My Games & Apps -> Games -> Halo MCC and press Menu, then choose Manage Game. If this account redeemed it, it will appear in "Ready to Install".

If you own the Xbox 360 version of Halo 3 ODST, you can install the single-player version through back-compat.

I have the same problem and i can't find a solution to it. Yesterday night it was still going.

But today, this message has been received by Halo Masterchiefcollection and Ark.
