I can't add my Xbox 1 account to my 360

So I bought a 360 and wanted to add my account to. it I did it before on my friends Xbox 360 and it worked. But whenever I try to add it to my Xbox it gives me error code 80151103 I even tried changing my password! I also factory reset the console but no luck. I tried everything on the Microsoft webpage about the error code they didn't work. I just don't know what to do

Unfortunately there's been a lot of threads on this issue within the last week. While there isn't a permanent fix, a few people have provided some workarounds worth giving a shot.

When the error code shows up, do not cancel it, just press ans hold the power button until the device turns off. Then press the power button again and turn the device on and check of that helps.

Hi,

Yes I can get to that screen and it shows me games that I've added to my account in the past. The issue is I haven't been able to add the last few months of free XBox One games to my account because I can't select them when
I go to 'New Games with Gold' from my XBox 360 home page. I also can't add them via the XBox website.

After saying that Plants Vs Zombies is showing on my account (which I've just been trying to add) but Super Bomberman that I tried to add last month isn't on there!

If you are just simply trying to add a profile you had on your Xbox 360 to your Xbox One, you can do so by just putting in the login information for that account on your Xbox One.

The problem is that I never linked my xbox 360 to my xbox live account, and now it don't want to. So I'm trying to link my xbox live account to my xbox 360, but all I get are error messages.

My account is linked to my xbox one without any problems, but in order to save xbox 360 game data on my xbox one, I have to download my/a xbox 360 profile, which I can't do because my profile won't connect to xbox live.

Usually I would just play my 360 games on the xbox 360, but unfortunately my xbox 360 can't run games due to a hardware malfunction.

You can't merge the 2 accounts together. In order to use the account you created online, you would need to download that account to the console -

support.xbox.com/.../add-remove-profile-xbox-360
