    I cannot update my Xbox system and I'm not sure what to do


    Hello there. So recently i haven't been able to play any games because my system won't update. I tried updating offline and even resetting my Xbox but nothing works. Xbox support says that I have been receiving preview console updates as an Xbox insider but I don't think this is the case. I'm really not sure what to do. Please help.

    I Cannot Connect To Xbox Live

    It still won't allow me to download the profile because it says there is a system update available from Xbox Live, but I cannot connect to Live, therefore I cannot download the update. What should I do? Any help appreciated.

    When I turned on the system and booted up the game it said a 5gb update needed to be installed. I would guess it has to do with the DLC coming out. Not 100% sure but that is my guess and is what I'm looking into myself

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    In this case, we just need to reset your console keeping your games and apps through the Xbox Troubleshooter page. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.
