I cannot update/install any games on Xbox PC Application after updating it and Games...

I understand how frustrating it is that you are unable to download apps and games from the Xbox App. I can also see that you have already performed most of the troubleshooting steps, even changing registry settings. Allow me to provide you with additional steps to try and fix this issue. If you have already performed the listed method, you can skip it and proceed to the next troubleshooting steps.

-Check if VC++ is really installed by going to control panel > Programs > Uninstall a program

-On the Program and Features Windows, check how many VC++ 2015 are installed you should be seeing 2 x86 and x64

-Third-party software may also cause some apps and games not to be installed; if you are running anti-virus, firewall, or game enhancement applications, try to disable them.

-Perform SFC Scan to fix System issues: Using System File Checker in Windows - Microsoft Support

-I would like to ask if you are also running the Xbox Insider version of the app; if yes, try to move out of the Insider version.

Hi, thanks for replying.

In answer to your questions:

- Yes, VC++ is already installed and updated.

- I already tried the troubleshooting thing, wasn't helpful.

- I didn't install any third-party software recently that might cause this issue.

- I ran Clean Boot and SFC scan and nothing changed.

- No, I'm not on Insider Version of the app.

Kindly report this issue to the Xbox Team in order for this to be checked by our development team.

1. Press and hold the Xbox button, and then select Report a problem to launch the Report a Problem app.
   
2. Select Report new problem.
   
3. If you’re experiencing an audio or video issue, you can provide additional info and diagnostics to your problem report by selecting Reproduce with advanced diagnostics. Otherwise select Continue with standard diagnostics.
   
   Note If you select Reproduce with advanced diagnostics, continue with the instructions that are found in the section, “Report a problem with media tracing.”
   
4. Choose the most appropriate category and subcategory from each dropdown. If you’re not sure what to choose, make your best guess.
   
5. If you have a screenshot or game clip with your issue, ensure that Include screenshot or Include game clip is selected.
   
6. You may be prompted to complete your report another way:
   
   • If you select Use another device, you can use your mobile device to scan the provided QR code and continue from your device. This is helpful if your problem report has a lot of details that typing with the virtual keyboard on console may prove difficult.
     
   • If you select Continue on console, you can continue through the steps in this section to submit your issue from your Xbox console. You can use a USB keyboard, the Xbox Chatpad, or the Xbox app on your mobile or Windows device to submit the details of your report.
     
     Note If you’re using a virtual assistant such as Cortana or Alexa, bring up the keyboard for each text field, and then press the View button to use voice-to-text.
     
7. Enter a short title for your issue.
   
8. Enter a description of your issue. Consider the following questions when deciding what details to include:
   
   • What is the problem or unexpected behavior?
     
   • What steps did you take to encounter the problem?
     
   • What additional software, hardware, or accessories were you using when you encountered the problem?
     
   • Were there any specific error codes or messages you saw when you encountered the problem or behavior? If so, what did it say?
     
9. Select Submit. It can take several seconds for your problem report to send.

Game updates cannot be installed via any other method other than Direct connection to Xbox Live,

However these updates will still be waiting for you after your time with your family and you are home again

Just did 2 Clean installs of Windows 10 1909.

The first install i did all windows updates/Driver updates then installed xbox pc beta game pass then installed 2 games and then attempted to install dragon center from MSI. it installed and then failed to run with the same errors i was getting before.

The second install i installed driver updates and then installed Dragon Center. Configured the system with Dragon Center. Then installed all windows updates, Xbox pc beta game pass and then installed a game and played. Dragon center still worked after playing
the game. once i restarted the computer dragon center was broken with the same errors as before. Something is breaking the program in the xbox pc game pass install.
