I Cannot Unmute Myself

Hi,

I can hear the speech on my Xbox, I can hear my own voice through the headset, however my speech doesn't make it as far as the game. When I press the Xbox home button I see the battery status of my controller and to the left of it I see an image of a muted
microphone.

How Do I Unmute Myself?

Is this a joke? Its been over 2 months since this glitch was annouced, why am i still muted? I didnt PAY to have a glitched account and absolutly no help from support apart from they were working on it a few months ago, and then make the topic ANSWERED?
No its not, not at all im still muted.

If you never read old topic basically on some games you could mute yourself (i muted myself on Gears 3 by the mute strangers option) It dont affect comunication to others but looking in-game and if your in a party you can't see if your microphone works or
if your talking loud enough (my problems i dont know if my musics too loud mainly).

Its not a massive problem but can get irritating. Please fix and keep people up to date, apologies if you have a place for this and please post a link but other than that do something about it!
