I cannot sign on to my XBOX account, so I CANNOT play my games

So Xbox service seems to be down and I have no way of talking to anyone to see if this is actually an error on their end or what is going on. I am currently the first in line for talking to a virtual agent. I have been first in line for over an hour...

I have tried to find direct numbers to call, and even find any link that I can send an email to with my questions and complaints. I cannot find any information on how to contact a REAL person.

Why am I paying for this service?

At what point do I get a refund on the money I pay for this service?

Should I just report this as a fraud to my bank since this is a service charge for a service that is not rendered?

Also I am kinda happy you are pushing me more away from Microsoft. I knew you were a bad company to begin with.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally understand how this could be pretty discouraging. Keep in mind that almost every gaming platform has periods of outage especially when they service so many people
at once. As such, currently the technical support agents are spread very thin and the only way to get a hold of one on the agents would be to follow the steps on contact us and select the prompt to have them call you back if available.

You can't claim fraudulent charges because you agreed to potential temporary outages of Xbox Live when you set up your subscription. You can cancel a subscription by following the steps

outlined here. After that you can try and request a refund here.

Can you login with the Home account? I know on my Home Xbox, I can download games but others cannot. So I download games for the kids and then they sign in and play, but I have to sign in to download them.

I have tried clearing cache, setting up a static iP address, doing a full reset on my console (where you clear it out but keep games and apps) and nothing has resolved this issue.

I still cannot connect to Xbox live when playing an Xbox 360 game and since I deleted my account in an effort to re-download it, it is gone and I can't even sign into my Xbox 360 online account. And CANNOT PLAY ANY OF MY GAMES THAT REQUIRE ME TO SIGN IN.
