I cannot sign into Xbox Live on enabled games on PC. I receive error code 0x80070520....

Thank you, Kathy. Support agreed I had an issue after a live demonstration. During my 3rd technician transfer to an escalated Windows support agent, I was disconnected with an automated message saying they were closed. After an hour of interaction and sharing my PC. No one has contacted me back, and I'm no longer able to reach a new agent.

I will attempt this path again tomorrow but it was not a positive start and hopefully this feedback will be useful to someone in the future.

1. Yes, sorry I meant the Microsoft Store.

2. Yes. Forza Horizon I purchased through the store and could try. Motorsport I bought through Steam but has the same problem. I thought this was a good idea, surely it wouldn't ask me to sign into Xbox coming through the Xbox app, but it did. Same error. I also used the new 'Gaming Services Repair Tool' added to the Xbox app but it did nothing.

3. No, I am not an insider.

4. Yes, I was able to play Solitaire, signed into my account. It auto installed on my PC. It did not ask me to sign into Xbox Live, I simply was. This was also through the Xbox app.

- My PC is fully up to date.

- I created a 2nd local account called "Test" and the exact same error code occurred.

- My time is auto synced and correct.

Do any of these answers help with a logical next step? Thank you for taking the time to help!

PS - I had a non-Forza game in my account (State of Decay 2) and it has the exact same error. It's not Forza games specific.

1. When you mention Windows Marketplace, are you referring to Microsoft Store?
   
2. Since you are a subscriber, will issue persists if the game is installed through Xbox app?
   
3. Are you part of Xbox Insider or PC Insider?
   
4. May we ask if you have issues installing Microsoft Store games? You may try to install Microsoft Sudoku or Microsoft Solitaire Collection?
   

Since you've already tried several troubleshooting steps, I suggest trying the following:



Check if your Windows operating system is up to date.

• Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click on Check for updates.
  
• Restart PC.
  

Local user account:

• Since you have tried other user profile, please see if issue persists on a local user account.
  
• Try creating a new local user account on your PC and sign in to Xbox Live using that account.
  
• This will help determine if the issue is with your user account.
  

Check if your PC's date and time are correct.

• Incorrect date and time settings can cause issues with Xbox Live sign-in.
