I cannot select anything on my Xbox 360

Please elaborate a bit more your concern, in what Xbox is this happening exactly?
What are you trying to do? Or what did you tried to fix it?

And when i try to add the credit card on my Xbox 360 it says "Cannot authorize the selected payment, Please select another payment method or add a new one".

What I am lookinh for here is a link where I can go on my PC and view what I want to put back onto my HDD, select them, and then have them redownloaded to my 360 HDD.

Also, I pressed guide and cannot find anything related to downloaded history.

Can you try holding the power button on the console until it shuts down and then unplug everything from the console for 5 minutes to see if that helps?

Thank you for your help but my main issue is that I cannot select anything so I will be unlikely to be able to get to settings.
