NOTE: to check the serial number:

1. On the xbox 360 home screen, move the directional keyboard to the right until you find the Settings menu. Then press A in the "System" option;

2. Go to the "Console Settings" menu and select the penultimate option from the "System Information" list;

Make a note of the serial number of your Xbox 360 that will appear on the new screen.

With xbox added to your devices, right above has 3 dots, click on it and select "reset password".

The default password will appear for you to remove the parental password from the console.

thanks, no its not the parental controls, I done reset on console as I thought that's what i needed to do so I could have a different email and password, however, all I now get is to put my email address in and it just doesn't work...... plus now I dont get an option of going to settings.... its very frustrating...

I cannot remember the email password sorry (I know the email address because I checked it when I was using my old console).

PROBLEM ONE: I cannot sign in this particular Xbox to enable 'remember password'...It is enabled on my other Xbox but when I ask it (tell it, stare at it, get angry with it, then touch it) to enable profile to be signed in with or without a password on another
console I am told there are no other consoles?
