  1. I cannot refund a game I bought on the online microsoft store.


    Today I bought Titanfall 2 deluxe edition, but after realizing it was the version only available for the Xbox 1 I quickly tried to request a refund. I realize now it was a stupid mistake to make, but after going to account and billing and then refund information,
    I signed into the xbox account that is linked to the microsoft account and went on to request the refund. After this I got directed to

    Your request was submitted

    Support request number: [Mod Removed - Personal Information]

    and then nothing. I have not received a confirmation email or anything nor is there a status on my refund in the account and billing tab, what must I do to receive my money back?

    If you get saying the refund was not possible you can still ask it in
    support.

    to see if a refund has been requested or is still available. If it's successful, it may take a few days

    before the refund

    That's the problem, it doesn't tell me if the request was even received.

    Hi Charl,

    Thanks for updating us with your replies. You've followed the correct process to request a refund and have received confirmation of the request; however, it does take the Refund support team about 48-72 hours to respond to each request.

    If you don't hear back from them after 72 hours, then its recommended that you reply to them via the confirmation email you received to request an update on the status of the refund request.

    You can also track the status of your refund request: Check your
    Order history.
