    I cannot play multiplayer


    I am 16 and over and am not in a Microsoft family group and still cannot play multilayer mode. I have gone to the privacy settings but still I cannot change the settings as it keeps returning me to the submit button even when I did it. this has happened many times now and I still cannot save the changes I made as it will not submit. I am also restarting my game (Minecraft) and it still won't let me play multilayer mode

    I don't know why I can't submit my new online safety strings but I would just like to be able to play online

    Is there no way for your team to manually change my settings to multiplayer

    My apologies but I'm afraid that the terms of service of Xbox Live state that you must be 18 or over in your country of residence unless otherwise specified. If you are under that age then any changes to your account can only be made by a parent account.

    Please make sure that you are online and your friends are online as well. Because being offline can prevent you from joining multiplayer games.

    And then verify multiplayer settings. To do this, kindly open Minecraft and go to Settings > Profile. Ensure that the multiplayer game toggle is turned on. One more thing, verify that the settings for the specific world you are trying to join and make sure multiplayer is enabled.

    Next is to restart your router, a simple router restart can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off your router, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.

    Then check firewall and security settings. It is important that your firewall or security software is not blocking Minecraft. Kindly add Minecraft as an exception in your firewall settings.

    Kindly check as well that both Minecraft and your operating system are updated to the latest versions.

    If the issue persists after performing the troubleshooting steps, please uninstall and then reinstall Minecraft. This will delete the corrupted files from your game.
