    Hello,

    I am a new game pass member, I wanted to play Dishonored game series but I strictly cannot play the game as it is stuck in an infinite loading screen. Never have experienced such problem and my PC has good specs (game is old so it's not even a point) what could be possibilities cause I strictly cannot play it.

    Is the installation not completed cause of antivirus or something ? As everything is backstage with the game pass, the installation process is kinda hidden so I don't really know if something is messing up somewhere.

    Is it a known issue with the game ?

    Hi again Goloso.

    I understand that most likely the antivirus deletes a file or block during the installation of the game thinking it is a virus or trojan and that is why it is so and most likely your solution may be the solution to several games that lately may be presenting the same failures.

    Hello Oskayra,

    Unfortunately the problem is not going down with Dishonored 2 but with the first one, i do not have the dishonored.cfg files for the first one in this case. I am then wondering if there is anything else i can try.

    Hello,

    As I had the game free on Epic Games too I installed it without any problem, I figured out there is a problem in the way the game is installed when going through Game Pass. So the only way I now found was to disable my antivirus while doing the installation via Game pass. You should look into it, it seems something is preventing it from stalling correctly and even repairing it doesn't solve this issue as well as reinstalling it so only way there is, is to disable the antivirus which is not always really easy to understand.

    They say that deleting the dishonored2.cfg files in the path C:/Users/Your Name/Saved Games/Arkane Studios/ solves it but I have not been able to test it. Make a backup of the file first and tell us.
