    • I had the application(xbox) open, I was shown an update for it, I clicked update and then immediately closed it. When I restarted the app(x, it flickered and didn't open. I deleted it and went to the microsoft store to download it, but there is no download button there.

    Please try updating your Windows to Windows 11 by going to Settings > Windows Update > Check for Updates. Let's see if that sorts it out.
