i cannot log into my xbox account

My xbox was saying that i couldn't connect to xbox live but i was connected to the internet i hard reset went offline and everything so most people said you should delete your account off the console so i tried it but when i tried to log in it said that my console was offline and has to be set online for me to long in but i cant change the settings without logging in .

When you're in network settings

On the right column there is 2 options

Go online

Forget wireless network.

Click forget wireless network, you'll need to re enter your network details again.

Now click, go online.

And on the left column there will be set up wireless network, click on that.

You should now see your connection to set up.

I am hoping it will let you in now
