I cannot log into my alias

I purchased and have been playing Minecraft for over a year. I got logged out two weeks ago and I can not log back in. Each time I use my email address it takes me to create a new username/alias and then prompts me to purchase the game again. Minecraft have said they cannot help me as it is an issue with the Microsoft account, but all the steps I have taken from the Microsoft help pages are not working/addressing my issue.

Webchat and calling an agent do not work and there is no email address to contact MS at. How can I actually get help to get back into my original account?

I don't like to give bad news, but exists the possibility that your account has been compromised.

When you tried to sign in the first time, did you received a message that said something like "this account doesn't exist"?

Did you not remember receiving a security notification?

I want to add an alias to my account but I cannot because I have a this warning: "For security reasons, you need to verify your primary alias before you can add another alias." How can I add an alias if I cannot verify my primary address? I no longer have
access to my primary email address as it no longer exists.

Hello Sam, by your description you are trying to change the "Alias" of your email, but you cannot add an alias of an account that already exists.

In case you have to log into the account you would like to change your email and add a new Alias, with that you will have another email as a method of logging into your account.

This same thing has just happened to me! I changed my alias, I then tried to log into my Xbox one account and it's asking me for a password for my old alias. Even though I know the password, xbox one is not accepting it..wth? I can log into my account online
with my new alias (this one) just fine.

This is beyond crazy! Some help would be most appreciated!

Thanks for the replay but I tried that already. First link is how to change alias which I already did. I chose add an existing email and put my sons email in, it sent the code and verified adress. Everything looked like it worked but we cannot log into
xbox live while signed in with new alias email.

Second link tells you how to find your email or password if you've forgotten it and that's not the challenge i'm having. I know my Microsoft email and also the new one I just added.
