I cannot launch Wreckfest on PC with game pass because of an error.

I have the same problem. Each time I launch the game I get the 0x87DD0005 error code (on PC Game Pass). All other games launch just fine.

Thank you. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Xbox App and Windows Store. I did a repair and reset of both apps while signed out. I did the Power Shell reset of the Windows Store.

I checked all updates were installed on my PC.

I also discovered that I cannot play a game that I own. Same error as the game pass games. So it looks like Forza 7 (own) and my Game Pass Games will not launch on PC.

Because its the launch date, game pass services for pc will be a little slow because of the flood of traffic.

I'm getting the same error on PC launching through Game Pass app. Other games have been fine, but this throws same error you are seeing.
