    I purchased Minecraft Bedrock for PC many months ago through the microsoft store and have been playing just fine, since yesterday's update. I was going to play with a friend but their game had updated which created a barrier between us. I was used to opening the game through my files rather than using the launcher but now there seems to be an issue. I cant update my game because it wont appear in my launcher. Any idea how to bring my game back into my launcher??

    Try to uninstall the game and download it again from the Microsoft Store.

    Thank you for your help, however I am currently unable to access the minecraft launcher (it can't be opened/launched, is still showing up in the windows search bar, cannot be uninstalled).

    Every time I try to download it again from other places (microsoft store application, minecraft installer application, minecraft launcher from the xbox store), I get an error and it tells me it is unable to install

    Minecraft Launcher not recognizing my owned games

    I just accessed it with the old launcher and it was able to recognize that I own Minecraft Java Edition. However, I cannot access Minecraft for Windows with that launcher and thus I cannot play Windows Edition.
