I cannot install Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

My friend gifted me the Phantom Liberty DLC a few hours ago. When I finally got the code I redeemed it. However, when I checked the addons for the game Phantom Liberty wasn’t there. I checked the Microsoft Store to see what the issue was and when I looked up the DLC it showed the price as though I did not own it. Weirdly, when I pressed A on it, to see the actual page for the dlc, it then showed that I owned it. No matter how many times I pressed A on it the dlc simply would not install. Every time I’ve restarted my console it’s just been a repetition of what I just wrote. It shows in my order history that I have the dlc so I’m very confused as to what may have gone wrong. I even checked the order history on my phone. The dlc should be associated with my console, despite that, when I log into other account on my Xbox it says I do not own it. I’ve tried just about everything. I’ve uninstalled the game, I’ve restarted my Xbox a dozen times, hell, I even tried installing it from the Xbox app from my phone to my console. It does not want to work. I checked with other games I own and that method works but not Phantom Liberty for some reason. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

In addition - I was able to successfully buy another product using Edge (Beta) and the original payment method, the problem seems to be only w/ Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty.

On your Xbox please make sure that you are signed into the account where you redeemed the add-on code.

And then go to Store> Search for the add-on> Install.

you'll find many things like DLC are account entitlements, not separate purchase items. This prevents them from being shared illicitly. essentially what you have is a small file that is your key to the DLC which is already part of the game
