I cannot hear voice chat on fortnite

I would say about early 2021 or middle of 2022. It did it and it had no effect. As soon as i went into a party then out of the party i couldnt hear anything, but before that, i could. Voice chat on the game is also on.

Check that your privacy settings allow communication with everyone. Go to Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox Live privacy. Select View details & customize > Communication & multiplayer. From here you can change your privacy settings to allow communication with everyone.

If it's already configured correctly, change your privacy settings to block communication, then power cycle your Xbox: Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or on your controller.

Once it's turned back on, go back to the privacy settings and enable communication with everyone. Following these steps should 'refresh' your account's settings and solve any conflicts with the settings.

If it's still not working, check the in-game settings to ensure voice chat is enabled. Let me know if these steps help.
