    I cannot hear any type of voice chat, and have tried 3 brand new mics. It constantly goes off and on and have tried to find videos, but I still have no explanation.

    Thanks so much! As for the mic issue, one was my razer wireless headset which works great except for the mic, and because of that I bought brand new xbox wired headset and still no mic. Weird cause it says mic is on, but I can't hear my voice, no one else
    can, and my recordings don't have my voice either. Was going to buy a third headset but I wonder if it's the xbox itself. thanks anyhow

    Sample Rate for Mic isn't supported

    I plugged in a new headset jack for my PC and it still wont allow my PC to run my mic audio, I can hear things but I cant talk or listen to others in a voice chat anymore on any app.

    sad to say all of these have been tried. except the kinect chat, because then they hear me no matter if i breathe or blink.

    1. connection open

    2. Their connection open, and note its EVERYONE not just one person

    3. privacy settings - adult - everything is allowed or on everyone

    4. voice preferances is on both,

    5. Brand new headset, 2 others went through same thing, and volume of course is high.

    6. game chat same thing happens, its voice chat for everything. Unless i call them on my cell phone

    7. same as 6

    any more suggestions or microsoft person who can do something about it.
