    I cannot get a replacement of my new xbox controller


    My new xbox series x controller doesen't turn on and if i plug it in it start to make a high pich noise. I tried to get a replacement of it but it doesen't find ny controller's serial number. My console is registrated, theres waranty on it and i didn't misspled the serial number

    I appreciate the help, but it said my controller's warranty ended last month so I can't get it replaced, the controller ended up burning my thumb as to me finding out where the buzzing was coming from, the controller had overheated and started burning me and now my thumb smells like burning skin, but yeah, I cannot get it replaced, so I will just have to buy a new one, thank you again for your help

    I'm having the same problem, and am trying to see if Microsoft can replace my controller, but it's requiring me to register my Xbox One. I don't have an Xbox One. I bought this controller for PC games.

    Is there another way to get a replacement other than simply buying a new one?
