I cannot download/install XBOX app

So I just added a new SSD to my slot 2 on motherboard, properly formatted and tried to re-install Starfield on it, which failed for some reasons.

Then I started to get BSOD after startup so decided to enter safe mode and uninstalled xbox app , whcih addressed the BSOD issue.

What's weird is, when I tried to install XBOX app again, it just doesn't let me. It's just stuck at 1.08MB or 2.16MB downloaded progress.

I've tried everything I could find online, such as reinstalling Gaming services, reset MS Store, etc.. Also countless tries of restarting PC.

Just wondering what might be the cause of this and how to fix it?

It appears that you are having issue reinstalling the Xbox again from Microsoft Store. Let us help you get to the bottom of this.

It was a known bug recently that was reported and a fix has been rolled out already. Try installing Xbox app again and let us know if it is working.

If the issue persists, you may try the following troubleshooting steps:

Reset Microsoft Store.

Press Windows key + R and type wsreset.exe then hit enter.
An empty Command prompt will pop open. Let it be for a few seconds and the command line will close automatically (after it has cleared the cache behind the background) and Microsoft Store will be launched in its place.
Try downloading the app again.

Hi Baptiste,

It's still not clear what app or game you are having trouble downloading. If you cannot download the Xbox (Beta) app for whatever reason, the easiest way to get the app is to use the Xbox
(Beta) app installer.

If your version of Windows needs to be updated to run the Xbox (Beta) app, the installer will help you through that process.
