I cannot connect online to Microsoft Majong.

I am logged into my windows live account, no problem. I can log into xbox live account, no problem. Majong and Solitare cannot connect to internet. Ran all checks on my computer through troubleshooting. Nothing works.

I have the same issue with all the microsoft games (solitaire, minesweeper, majong and sudoku)

This is more than a majong problem. This is a microsoft problem as they are the oarent company and the purchases are not tied to majong but xbox live account. This is pathetic passing the buck to someone else so you dont have to fix your problem.

The info about data is correct, all progress is saved in the cloud so it will not be lost, you will probably have just to manage settings again like the theme you use to play.

The only thing that will actually work is to uninstall and reinstall via the store (I've tried everything else to no avail). We are talking about the PC game by the way, so standard console reset operations are not applicable here anyway.
