I cannot connect my Xbox Controller to my PC

Discus and support I cannot connect my Xbox Controller to my PC in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I have been onto settings, then devices and searched Bluetooth in the Xbox controller tab.     I cannot connect my Xbox Controller to my PC


    I have been onto settings, then devices and searched Bluetooth in the Xbox controller tab. How google tells me too, hoe most sites explain to do this. it is not even finding the device.

    can anyone help? I can use a lead but my lead is too restrictive and I need it wireless.

    How to connect my controller.

    My windows is up to date, however I cannot update the firmware of my controller as previously stated. When I go to xbox accessories on my PC and try to update my controller for the few seconds that it stays connected it says applying update but sits at 0% forever. And when you connect via bluetooth you cannot update said controller since I am on PC.

    You don't need bluetooth, If you cannot connect the controller wirelessly, then connect it with a cable instead. I connect my controller to my PC with a cable, and it works fine with Xcloud.

    How to connect my controller.

    I have done all of that, I cannot update my controller because as previously stated I cannot get the controller to connect my controller to the PC to update. As for bluetooth, Bluetooth updating is not something you can do.

    Elite Controller Series 2 will no longer charge or connect to Xbox or PC?

    My controller is the elite series 2 controller, so I cannot remove the battery.

    As I mentioned in my original post, the controller will not connect to my PC or Xbox with the correct USB C cable, and it will not charge or connect with the multiple cables I tried to use.

    Is there a way I can send this in to get repaired?
