    Accidental Game Purchase Refund

    the only way to stop this from happening again is set up a password on your account so only you can log in if they cannot log in they cannot buy stuff. Or you can make sure there is no card on file to buy stuff, or setup an account just for them. and sadly
    there is no refunds on anything bought on the marketplace you could TRY to contact support and ask but 99% sure they will say sorry you bought it you own it even if you already own a disc copy sorry.

    I would not write here if using support.microsoft.com/contactus would solve the issue.

    The problem i have requires me to send my phone number, which is a big nono, or to contact a human with the ability to talk about the problem.

    On the screen below we can see my failed attempt to talk with microsoft support. The "Connect with a Specialist" link redirects to a chatbot with predefined answers.
