    I cannot add a new account to my Xbox after restarting it


    Recently I’ve been having problems loading up Fortnite I found how to fix it by restarting my Xbox in system after I did that I forgot to save old settings from my “old” Xbox I tried to restart it the same way but now when I add new I sit at a loading screen then it just takes me to home so I add new at home sit at a loading screen again then just get nothing no error code nothing just straight back to home it’s been like this since yesterday I really need help I’ve tried another persons advice given to someone who had the same problem but it didn’t work if anyone can help me ASAP that would be appreciated, thank you.

    Hi, I'm Luis a Xbox user just like you. Thanks for reaching out us here.

    Since you say you have tried other solutions to no avail. Attempt performing a factory reset.

    You can choose to keep your games and apps of you want to

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    Select Settings.
    Select All Settings.
    Select System.
    Select Console info & updates.
    Select Reset console.

    Xbox is having some server issues right now, which is most likely the root of your problem!

    Your account most likely is not the current issue.

    Keep an out on Xbox Server Status for updates, or subscribe to the server notifications system to be notified when servers will go up! https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

    If servers go up, and this issue keeps happening, contact or reply and ill try to help you out once again in more detail!

    Cannot sign in to Live- Error Code 0x80a40019

    Thank you for you response, I attempted this method last night and was not successful. After deleting the account from my Xbox and performing the restart I am unable to re-add my account.

    - At "Who are you?" Screen

    - Selecting "Add New"

    - Long Circle Load Screen

    - Receiving Error Message

    "Try again later

    There was a problem, and we couldn't continue. (0x80a40019)"

    Parent email question.

    You cannot change the parent account attached to a child account after it has been created. The only managing you can do is completely remove the relationship, but you cannot add a new parent to the child after that. Sorry for the confusion.
