Discus and support I cannot access chat in multiplayer in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I am currently on Minecraft Java Edition and I cannot access multiplayer chat.     I cannot access chat in multiplayer


    I am currently on Minecraft Java Edition and I cannot access multiplayer chat. The text which is appearing when trying to use chat says: "Chat not allowed by account settings. Press 't' again for more information" in red.

    My PC is running on Windows 10 Home, and Minecraft is on 1.19.3 version (because the server which I am trying to chat and play is on 1.19.3 version)

    I already tried turning Block and turning Allow "You can play with people outside of Xbox Live", "You can create and join clubs", "You can join multiplayer games" and "You can add friends" again. Didn't work.

    If files with this question aren't shown the issue was, that it said "File(s) failed to upload." If there a duplicate files shown, its because I thought they weren't added with this question.

    The error that you're getting is related to your settings. If I may ask, were you able to use the chat feature before inside the game? It can be due to an enforcement action as well but we need to isolate the issue.

    Thank you and after making the changes kindly sign out on your Minecraft launcher and then restart your device before signing back in. This is to re-sync the changes that were made.

    Also, if it's already setup correctly, please wait for the changes to sync within a couple of hours.

    I logged off the minecraft account, restarted computer and opened minecraft, and logged on server, still doesn't work
