    I bought Xbox Game Pass way back in maybe September. I forgot about it and realized I needed to cancel it in December (my financial situation changed as I am a student). I went to cancel on the website but it didn't give me the option, so I called Microsoft support and they cancelled it for me. It even says its still cancelled. However, I was reviewing my bank statement tonight because I was curious as to why my balance was lower than it should be and low and behold, I had a charge for "Microsoft Ultimate 1 M" for $16.11. I am extremely upset because I am not able to work right now because of a surgery, and like I said I am a student so my money is very limited. I will be calling the bank tomorrow to dispute the charges, but I want to make sure this does not happen in the future, and clearly Microsoft support did not do the job correctly the first time. Has anyone had this problem? What should I do, and am I going to be refunded?

    I will have to contact support tomorrow because it is not letting me submit a refund request. When I called to cancel, they turned off auto renewal as well as canceled (or so they said). Like I said the last time I was charged was when I cancelled in December, so I don't know why I just got charged in March. Thank you for the information!

    Before calling the bank, you would want to cancel/refund through Microsoft. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/subscriptions-billing/manage-subscriptions/refund-subscriptions Otherwise they will think you're trying to commit fraud. If for some reason you can't submit a the refund because it shows it was cancelled, or you have another issue with it, you'll need to contact support and speak to billing. http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    If you have a subscription in the future and want to make sure you don't get charged again, make sure to turn off auto-renewal before you're scheduled to be billed again (instead of cancelling).

    Hello,

    This doesn't help me because my xbox account shows canceled since August which is when I canceled, so there is nowhere to click refund for those charges, however my bank statement clearly states that the charges are the 12th of each month. Why won't it stop?! may need to report fraud to my bank, I'm getting desperate.

    I have been charged for multiple Xbox Live Gold membership without me knowing

    I canceled my membership 2 months ago....was charged anyway. Called Xbox Live support, and was told the will not refund my charges....because "there is no card on file". Which is a lie, because I'm looking at my bank statement with the charge less than 24
    hours ago. I was on a month to month plan and removed my cards and canceled my account on Microsoft live. The person on the phone agrued with me and said "I have to take it up with my bank", "there is no one here in management that will assist you". Employee
    refused to give employee ID or any info regarding my next step. This is FRAUD! I have already filed a report with my bank and plan to file a complaint via any legal avenues I can. I am very disappointed in this poor customer service.

    First off I don't use PayPal but good try though.

    Second auto renewal has been cancelled for months now. I haven't used my old card since March in looking at my bank statements. I'm contacting Microsoft and I'm contacting my bank but there's no reason this should've happened to begin with
