    No, only AA batteries or the official battery packs

    even if it may fit, using other batteries may damage the controller

    If the batteries are in series the voltage doubles and the Mah remains the same. Two AA's at 1.5v 2500 mah = 3v 2500 mah

    If the batteries are in parallel the voltage is the same and the Mah doubles. Two AA 1.5v 2500 mah = 1.5v 5000mah

    No batteries are fine x2AA Alkaline Panasonic or Duracell. This is the normal case for most people. Some recharge packs may have 4 batteries in parallel therefore x2 the lifetime but not anyone likes recharge packs.

    You're welcome, my friend. :) If you can, try using Parallels, and then download the Xbox app there, and try to play from there. Parallels give a time for free access to it to test the software out. :)
