I can turn on ray tracing for minecraft bedrock and I don't know why

Just to clarify, is it that it isnt strong enough, because the minimum being a 20 series card would contradict that, or is it that the version for the 4070 is yet to be released?

The feature is not ready yet and only available in certain insider builds

Minecraft uses path racing the most brutal form of RT. 4070 is likely not enough. I will tell you that portal RTX is unplayable on my 3070, actually unplayable as in single digit frame rate

It’s only Minecraft bedrock when I use the ray tracing feature on the RTX worlds by NVIDIA.

Ok so only certain games will have ray tracing? Do you know if any games that were on the xbox one will be capable of it on the series s/x? Also I’ve seen videos showing the series X’s ray tracing abilities and they used minecraft as an example. Do you now
if this is real and if minecraft will support ray tracing or is this unconfirmed?

One of the main reasons I plan on buying one of the new consoles is for the ray tracing abilities (especially on minecraft)

Are you playing in windowed/ borderless 4k? Thats the issue the minute you put the game into 4k and go full screen the resolution gets wacky and you cant see the menu to do anything. To your point on Ray tracing, if like you im playing on a 2080ti
Then why wouldnt i want to use the Ray tracing the card is capable of.

with ray tracing turned off, the menu screen is normal / fine for me, but as soon as i turn ray tracing on with full screen at 4K, the menu screen goes all weird as you have described,

The solution that works for me is to turn off ray tracing.
