I can purchase games, but they won't download, just stay queued. Please help?

It appears that you are experiencing issue in downloading the game in your Xbox console. Let us check and see on what we can do to help resolve your concern.

We would like to ask few questions to help us isolate the issue further.

1. Did you purchase the game through Microsoft Store or Xbox Game Pass?

2. Are you getting error message or error code?

3. What specific game did you purchase?

4. How many games are you installing?

When you choose to download or purchase a game or app from the Microsoft store or Xbox Game Pass, it installs automatically to your console if:

1. Your console is set as your home console. See: How home Xbox and game sharing work
   
2. Your console is powered on or the power mode is set to Sleep. See: About power options on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S
   
3. Your console is connected to the Xbox network.
   

The following steps will help identify whether there's a problem with your network when downloading a game or app on your Xbox console, and will show you how to improve network speed.

1. Check the download speed.

• Scroll to Installing… <the game title you're downloading>.
  
• Go to My games & apps > Manage > Queue and note the download speed shown on the game or app that’s being installed. This indicates the current download speed. If you're seeing slow speeds (for example, less than 1 megabit per second), it may take a long time for the download to complete.
  

2. Close or suspend any running games. To provide the best gaming experience, background downloads are constrained while a game is running. To remove download constraints from games or apps being installed, you can either wait for the console to suspend the running game, or you can tell the console to suspend the game during the download. To suspend a game:

• Go to My games & apps > Manage > Queue.
  
• Select Suspend my game (this option is only available when a game is running while another game or app is being installed).
  

You can also force games to close by doing the following:

• On the Home screen, navigate to your most recently run game.
  
• With the game highlighted, press the Menu button and select Quit.
  

Once you've closed the most recently run game, check the speed at which your game or app is downloading. To avoid slowing your download, don't launch any games until your download has completed.

3. Restart your console.

• Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your controller to open the Power Center.
  
• Select Restart console.
  
• Select Restart. This will automatically pause any existing downloads, which will resume once the console is restarted.
  

When you restart your console, all open apps and games will be closed, so once your console has restarted, verify that your downloads have resumed by doing the following:

1. On the Home screen, open My games & apps > See all > Manage.
   
2. Select Queue and highlight the game or app you're trying to download.
   
3. The game or app should show as Installing.
   
4. If the status shows as Queued or Paused, select the game or app, press the Menu button, and then select Resume installation.
   

4. Check your console's network connection.

Need help my game won’t download any games started off by trying to update cod to n not wanting to update into me having to delete the whole game to it not wanting to redownload

I’ll tried all of them n any have worked

You're suggestion didn't work. I only have Destiny downloading right now, but it keeps downloading, then saying it's queued (even though I have nothing else downloading) then downloading again, then queued, then at some points it just stops completely, making
me have to start it back up or it won't download.
