    I've had this issue for months now, I never did before. If I play by myself i cannot talk in game chat but I can still hear my teammates. When i join someone else's game I can both talk and hear them just fine. It is like this for all my games. I have
    2 turtle beach headsets i use. One is wired and the other is wireless. I have the same issue with both. My setting are set to allow me to communicate with everyone. Its so frustrating not being able to communicate with my teammates. Has anyone else had the
    same issue if so please help me resolve the issue

    Actually, what I find works the best is before joining a party with someone else, start up a party by yourself and make sure the little green circle is lighting up when you talk. After that you should be clear for party chat.

    Just have everyone join a Xbox Live party chat. That way you will hear all your family and can talk to each other regardless of what game they are playing.

    Being in an Xbox live party is better so if someone in your group gets dropped from a game they can still talk to everyone. In game chat they would not be able to do that.
