I can not send messages to others on Xbox One.

I'm having a similar problem with the Xbox App for my iPhone. I was able to use the messaging just fine a few days ago, but now it says I can't because of a security setting. I've checked my account and nothing has changed, the only security setting for
messages is still set to allowed. Following the Support link for Reputation Check just takes me to my basic security information that has nothing about messaging. And of course, I can't get any desktop browsers to load my messages either, so it just seems
all around broken.

There is a weird 3 hour delay whenever an xbox one user sends a message to an xbox 360 player. Strangley if the xbox 360 user sends a message to an xbox one user it will show immediatley. I first found out about this glitch because my xbox g.f. was asking
why it took me so long to respond. We later figured out it was because this unfixed glitch. You can forcibly send the delayed messages in 2 ways; if another xbox360 user sends you a message it wil send the delayed message at the same time. The other method
is to send yourself a message (yes this is possible) when you recieve your own message it will also send the delayed message as well.

*Im not sure if this is true for everyone or just a glitch on me particularilly.

Can you click on your account here on the Xbox website in the upper right corner, and go to your Messages? Are you able to send messages there?

Do you get an error message when sending messages from your Xbox One? What exactly prevents you from sending messages on your Xbox One?

I can't send messages on here as it says it's due to my past behavior. Same with my Xbox one and app. I can send them on my 360 but they don't go through. If I play a 360 game on my one the option to message is greyed out.

Check to see if you have a communications suspension. You can view your enforcement by logging into enforcement.xbox.com and filing a case review from there if the ban is eligible.
