    My multiplayer privileges are not enabled... but I have a working Xbox live account with membership.

    When I sign into Xbox it tells me that I'm online. I can send and receive messages but cant join or make a Xbox live party. Then when I get onto Halo 5 or Black ops 3 and try to play a multiplayer game it tells me that my multiplayer privileges are not enabled,
    but the day before I was playing multiplayer, no problems. I have already tried to purchase a new month of Xbox live, and it told me I can only have one subscription at a time. Is this some sort of ban ?

    I also have the same problem. Bought the Xbox One X on release day, i used the 14 day Xbox Live Gold code on the same day and i still can't play Multiplayer. I can download the Xbox live gold games of the month like you can but when i go into multiplayer
    in a game it says i don't have a Gold subscription and it takes me back to the store where it says Xbox Live Gold expires on 11/21/2017. So it must be active but i can't use it :/

    It has multiplayer campaign, but do I need Xbox Live Gold for play it alone?

    If not then I will buy the game. If I must have Xbox Live Gold for playing that mode on Xbox One, then I skip the game for sure.

    MW3 multiplayer like most Xbox Live multiplayer games requires a Gold account to be played online. You can create a new account and have a free 30 day trial of Xbox live gold if you wish to trial the service. you can still play local (splitscreen) and
    LAN games without a gold account but for matchmaking or internet based games, a gold account is required.

    Xbox Live Gold is ONLY required for playing online Multiplayer, participating in parties and getting and playing the free Games with Gold games.

    If you purchased a game digitally, you can download that without a Gold membership. You'll just be unable to play the online multiplayer part (if the game has online Multiplayer).

    Thanks for posting, the reason that Minecraft is not allowing for these functions seems to be attributed to the lack of an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Xbox Live Gold is needed to play any multiplayer functions in any game, this means that all games that
    have a single player option are playable but, if a multiplayer option is there, a gold subscription is needed to play it.
