    Hi, I'm an xbox ambassador and was asked the following question. Why when someone trys to redeem a 3 month xbox live card would it ask for billing info?



    If someone from MS could respond I'd appreciate it.

    Hey there MonstruineitoX,

    Sorry to hear that you're having problems with this issue.

    It might be that there is some discrepancy between the information with your financial institution and your payment instrument.

    I would say that your best bet for issue resolution would be to contact
    customer support
    directly or your financial institution so they can make sure everything is correct as you're putting it.

    Also, just a heads up, if you're trying to put in a payment instrument that does not have billing information (i.e. a prepaid visa or something similar) you'll run into trouble as well.
