I can not download Minecraft Bedrock edition on my windows computer.

Minecraft has a Bedrock Edition. On Game Pass, Minecraft game is not included. You need to buy it. Since Bedrock is cross-platform, I was hoping that my kids can download it on their computers as well. So if the edition that Game Pass sells is not the Bedrock Edition, then it makes sense that I am only allowed to play within XBOX. Can you please confirm that if I buy it on Game Pass I won't be able to download and play on both computer and XBOX console?

I would assume you are trying to download on a windows pc.

You will have to install the minecraft launcher first.

To play Minecraft: Java Edition, download and install the correct launcher for your operating system. Sign into the Launcher using your Microsoft account, and you will be able to run Java Edition.

To play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, you will need a device running Windows 10 or 11 to download and install the newest version of the Launcher, within which you can launch and play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Sign into the Launcher using your Microsoft account, and you will be able to run Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

I have this exact issue. I own the Minecraft Bedrock edition (for windows 10), and can install and play it through the minecraft launcher. I get the message in the launcher that I'm eligible for the Java edition, and click to try to redeem it, which takes me here: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/minecraft-java-bedrock-edition-for-pc/9nxp44l49shj I sign in to my Microsoft account on the web, and it still says "Buy" rather than "Get" and there's no option to change things.

I've tried uninstalling all minecraft stuff, resetting my windows store and xbox app accounts, and restarting the computer. I can reinstall minecraft just fine and still play the Bedrock Edition, but the Java edition remains unavailable.

The problem now is that I can download the launcher but the minecraft for window which you need to download the game mode, have an error everytime i try to download. Now is that the app of minecraft for window is impossible to download so i cannot do any repair on it,

And for the payment it is Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC so i dot know what is the problem with this that make me cannot download the minecraft for window

There are many possible reasons why you cannot download Minecraft on PC. The license of the game may not be reflected on your account immediately, or you are logged in to a different profile.



You may need to reset Windows Store to clear the Store cache. You can follow the steps below:

1. Press Windows Key + X on your keyboard.

2. Click Command Prompt (Admin).

3. Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.

4. Make sure you are logged in to the account you used to purchase the game. You can also try to sign out and sign in to Windows Store again to refresh your profile.



Launch Windows Store and click on the profile icon in the upper right corner of the page.

Go to My Library and download Minecraft for Windows 10.

If you still cannot download the game, you can open the Xbox app and go to My Games.

Download the game there. If the game is not available, click Find games in the Store.
