I can not download games with Xbox Game Pass because of Error code 0x87e00191

I had this issue around a year ago. I could tell you all the 10 steps I followed to solve it, unfortunately what helped me to solved this was to restart my PC as it comes here:

In the part of Windows 10 click on "Reset this PC" these instructions will help you to solve the problem, you can even leave your important files!

This error started with other errors in the Xbox app services and gaming service, microsoft reported the fix and asked them to do it here:

"Microsoft has released an update to fix this issue. To install the update, follow these steps:

Select the Start button in the lower left corner of the main screen and select Settings.

Select Update and Security > Check for Updates.

Select View optional updates, then select update KB5004476 from the list.

Select Download and Install.

When the update is complete, restart the device.

You should now be able to install, update and launch games.

Are you still in trouble?

Try deleting the Game Services registry keys and reinstalling the Game Services app on your Windows 10 device:

Right-click the Start button in the lower left corner of the main screen and select Windows PowerShell (Administrator).

From the Administrator: At the Windows PowerShell screen type the following command and press Enter:

Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

In the same window, type the following commands and press Enter:

Remove-Item -Path "HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices" -recurse

Remove-Item -Path "HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNet" -recurse

Restart the device.

Right-click the Start button in the lower left corner of the main screen and select Windows PowerShell (Administrator).

From the Administrator: At the Windows PowerShell screen type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the application on this page and select Yes when prompted for User Account Control (CCU).

Try installing or starting the game again."

The problem started with this error, and there are several other errors, I advise you to try.

I have Xbox games pass ultimate, I click on the game under the games pass listing & it says I need Xbox games pass for Console, there is no download button. I get an error message when trying to purchase game's pass for Console probably because I already

You already tried a lot of things... May I know if you are trying to install No man's sky on the C: drive or are you selecting a different drive?

Also, if you try downloading a different game the issue persists? Or is this happening only with this game?

Also, how did you reinstalled windows? Using a Bootable USB drive and then your formatted all the partitions in your PC?

I followed all the steps but I still have the same error code when attempting to download games off the game pass I've only been able to download two games but others still have the same error code 0x80070424
