    I can not create a gamertag


    so I made a Microsoft account and i got to the part where you create your Xbox profile picture and choose your gamer tag but the problem is any gamertag I attempt to put in it says "That gamertag didn't work. Try another one." I could type a random gamertag with random letters and numbers and it still says it doesn't work and all the suggested username boxes are blank. I'm not familiar with Microsoft so maybe I just missed something or maybe its a server issue I don't know.

    There is probably an issue going on right now with gamertags since a few users just started complaining about it. I would suggest you to wait a few hours to see if the issue goes away.

    Hey OranShingar! Can you explain a bit more what you mean? By "Character" name do you mean Gamertag? Can you list out how many different Gamertags you've created and WLID accounts you've created. For example:



    Gamertag A is linked to WLID A

    Gamertag B is linked to WLID A

    etc.



    Make sure not to list any actual Gamertags or WLIDs for personal safety!
